Traductor tenía que ser

Poesía de nuestro tiempo, del británico J. M. Cohen (traducción de Augusto Monterroso), es un volumen publicado en castellano en varias oportunidades por el Fondo de Cultura Económica, de México. Se trata, probablemente, de uno de los mayores esfuerzos realizados para comprender de manera global el desarrollo y la evolución de la poesía lírica contemporánea.
Luego de consultar ese volumen por enésima vez, el Administrador sintió curiosidad por saber algo más sobre un autor que, hasta ahora, sólo había sido un nombre y nada más. Al recurrir al Google descubrió que la Wikipedia en inglés albergaba un artículo al respecto. De ese modo, pudo enterarse de que John Michael Cohen (1903-1989) fue fundamentalmente traductor, que estudió en la Universidad de Cambridge, que ejerció como maestro de escuela, que aprendió castellano y ruso por sus propios medios, que su traducción del Quijote se encuentra entre las mejores realizadas en inglés y que fue uno de los mayores difusores de la literatura del boom latinoamericano en Inglaterra.

Luego, por si fuera poco, obtuvo una muestra de lo que había traducido, de aquello que había editado y, por último, de los ensayos que había escrito.
